CurtisE Learning provides individualized academic tutoring, test preparation, and admissions counseling for students in grades K–college. All services are led by licensed educators and designed for families seeking high-level, results-driven support.

All CurtisE Learning services are prepaid. Families may prepay individual sessions at the standard hourly rate or choose a lesson bank for ongoing support and reduced effective hourly cost.

Academic Tutoring & Test Preparation

Grades 2–12

Includes:

  • Academic subject tutoring

  • SAT / ACT

  • SSAT / ISEE

  • Study skills and academic coaching

Standard prepaid hourly rate:
$225 per hour

This option is typically used for short-term or one-off support. Rates are lower for long term support/lesson banks:

Lesson Banks — Ongoing Support & Savings

Lesson banks simplify scheduling and billing and are the preferred option for families planning consistent support.

Lesson bank hours may be used flexibly for:

  • Academic tutoring

  • SAT / ACT / SSAT / ISEE / HSPT

  • Later admissions or essay support

Lesson banks are prepaid and deducted as sessions occur. Families are notified as their bank balance runs low, so there is ample time to assess progress, adjust scheduling, and reload hours as needed.

Lesson bank rates are locked for the life of the bank. Hours may be used flexibly across academic tutoring, test preparation, and later admissions or essay support.

Premium & Specialized Test Preparation

LSAT, GMAT, GRE, MTEL, preparation:
$250 per hour

Lesson banks / reduced rates are also availble.

College & Independent School Admissions Counseling

$200 per hour

Year-long college counseling and independent school admissions counseling are offered on a limited basis. Pricing varies by scope and is shared after inquiry.

Community Academic Support (Local)

Reduced community rates may be available for local families seeking ongoing academic subject support or test prep. Availability is limited and confirmed privately after inquiry.

How to Get Started

All services begin with an inquiry. Once fit and goals are confirmed, lesson banks are purchased first, and sessions are scheduled immediately afterward. Payments can be made via Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle. Credit Card payments coming soon.
